After 8 months...i am back.Don't know what pulled me back from posting.
Yes,like all others i am also spending much time in facebook.But why..?I have asked this question many times.Why facebook..or why a social networking site?Everyone around us are equally responsible for it.Apart from ourselves,our teachers,our parents,our friends,...everyone....
Our Role
Why we use this much of social networking sites...?There are many things..The main thing is that we don't know the best way to utilise time.It is simply because most of the youngsters aren't aware about their own skills and talents.We are not taught about Skills and Talents in our schools.But we use to find it or make it I should say,not for using it but only for scoring some grade points in 10th and 12th standard.So,we don't know what we can do...and what we cannot...Some students are excellent artists...but they show this on the Benches and Desks..:D...mostly with a correction pen.Why don't these people take a paper and pencil and draw it during their free time ?It is just because of the 'ignorance' about their talent.We must find these kind of talents and use it.
Parent's Role
They also play their role.How many parents will allow their child to take fine arts or sports after 12th standard ?Only 10% .Its very rare to see a 12th std. student who is not preparing for the Entrance Exams.Some opts wisely for NDA,so they will learn what they like(Bsc/BA),will polish their talents,and the last but not the least a highly honoured position is waiting for them.
We know a 22 year old girl who brought an olympic medal for our country.But do you know about a father who decided not to send his girl for the 12th std. board exams and instead sent his girl to play for our country ?The same girl missed that year's compartmental exams too.But it is she,and not the others who wrote all the exams on time,was honoured with Padma Shri Award,Arjuna Award,Rajiv Gandhi Khel Retna Award.Do you think that a simple student who is not allowed to use his/her talents,forced to learn..learn and learn will get these?The answer is a big NO.There are many other people,who sacrificed their education and campus life,but are the Winners of Life.
Teacher's Role
Teachers are those people who can analyse a student better than anyone.But,only 20% of teachers are interested in making their students to use their talents.Most of the teachers talk to the parents such that the child is a rotten fruit.That is only because this child didn't scored A+ for that particular subject.Then some parents will also add fuel to the fire...:D...like 'do you know ma'm/sir,my child is always watching TV or my child is always playing'......Why should you point against your own child in front of a person(he/she is a stranger for you,even though she teaches your child) ?When you point against your child,it shows your inefficiency only.
Friend's Role
How many of us will go to a friend's home just to meet him/her..? or just to talk with him/her..?We ourselves think that,ooh....this much KMs are their to his/her home...Why should I spend money and fuel..?Ok,so i will make a call and speak to this person or will put a message .
We will not make any benefit from our skills/talents unless and untill we realise ourselves.One more thing,if you don't know things like Padma Shri Award,Arjuna Award,Rajiv Gandhi Khel Retna Award....then please don't tell again that you are a citizen of India.
